peace In early times criminal matters and offences against public order were within the jurisdiction of local lords and local courts, and the Kings Court exercised jurisdiction over offences committed within the vicinity of the King himself: committed contra pacem Donimi, or against the peace of our Lord the King. By a fiction that the Kings peace extended to the highways and ultimately over the whole realm, the Kings Court acquired its comprehensive jurisdiction.
Peace Submission to Allah is the only peace recognized in Islam. Anything else is worthy of justified retaliation. --When Muslims say peace, they mean non-Muslims should be subdued and humiliated to the extent that they have no strength to rebel. Peace, according to Islam, is therefore achieved through subjugation (Ali Sina).
