Islamic Co-ordinating Council of Victoria ( ICCV )
ICCV is the largest Halal certification organisation in Australia servicing clients locally and internationally. ICCV is responsible for the certification, monitoring, and supervision of Halal food for the domestic market as well as the export market. Clients cover a range of sectors including abattoirs, food processing businesses, transportation and cold storage operators.
1. Apply
Complete Application for Halal Accreditation Service. Each Halal Product Submission form must be accompanied by related ingredient data sheets. A technical ingredient and specification sheet is required for every ingredient used in the manufacturing of the product.
2. Confirmations
The AHAA food technologist team assesses suitability and confirms the halal status of the product. Once it confirms, an Agreement and Halal Certification Fee will be provided to the applicant.
3. Audit & Approval
A halal audit of the premises is conducted by AHAA halal services manager or his AHAA representative. Halal approval is granted upon compliance with all halal requirements by means of a contact between the applicant and AHAA.
If the applicant pass, the Agreement will be signed and fee payment received from the applicant.
4. Certificate
The final stage is the issuing of the Halal Accreditation certificate which is valid for one year and subject to renewal thereafter.
